Skype counselling for men

On the theme of men and counselling, we were wondering if those men considering counselling but were unable to come to a face to face session for various reasons,    would consider counselling over Skype to be a viable option. It is undoubtedly best to meet face to face in a secure, counselling environment, however that is not always possible and maybe Skype could be used as an alternative.

Skype is a software application that lets users make voice and video calls over the internet and can be set up on a computer following these steps if you do not already have it:

1. Go to the Skype website ( Click here ) and download the latest version of Skype for Windows or Mac, then install it on your computer.
2. Open the Skype icon on your computer and add those you wish to communicate with to your Contact List.
3. You will need a webcam if your computer does not have one built in, and pssible a headset. Skype have recommended webcams and headsets on their website.

All Skype sessions are encrypted to ensure privacy and confidentiality. You can read more about it on Skype's website.

If you did wish to discuss setting up an appointment
1. We can discuss the suitability and availability of counselling via Skype by contacting by phone (UK 020 8504 7396) or email (david@graceandfaith.co.uk)
2. Once the suitability and appointment has been set in place, you will be sent by email a counselling contract to consider.
3. If you accept the contract, then return a signed copy of the contract by email or post and you can arrange payment of the initial session via Paypal (see What it costs). The fees are the same as the single session, that is, £35 per one hour session.
